Jesus, Help Bring this Nation Together

Jesus, I know you don’t have a favorite country.

I know in your eyes America isn’t better than the rest.

But Jesus, I also know you care about this place. You know the potential of this country.

Your heart breaks because of the division the enemy himself has brought, and so many of us have fallen prey to.

You have compassion for us.

But you also want to lead us to true change.

It’s never been more evident that we can’t do this without you.

We need supernatural intervention.

We need repentance, awaken souls, and so, so much of your grace.

Please Lord, help us.

Pour the one thing we need more than anything else to heal...

...your love.

It’s already here, Jesus. There is so much goodness and beauty and love in this country.

But we need more of you to heal the depths of this brokenness.

One nation, under you, God.

I pray for a true awakening in our nation.

That we could see beyond the media, political parties and agendas.

That we could start seeing all of your people through the lens in which you see them.

Loved. Important. Worthy.

Worth dying for, actually.

Do what only you can do in our hearts and our nation, Jesus.

And help us do our part in acknowledging that you are the way to healing.

We love you Jesus, and we know you’ve never left us and you never will.
