Someday You Will Look Back and See how Strong You are Right Now.

You would never think to call yourself “strong” during this time, would you, friend?

You feel like you are the complete opposite- totally weak.

After all, you are struggling to even get out of bed in the morning.

There are tears and emotions that are constantly popping up and impossible to keep inside.

You are crying out to God for help, just hoping He will give you some glimmer of hope.

So yeah, how could living like this make you feel strong?

Well here’s the thing...

Getting out of bed may be hard, but you somehow manage to do it. When we are in a dark place, it takes a lot of strength to do that.

You are experiencing emotion because you know you can’t stuff it down. Stuffing is actually the easier option, and the fact you are letting yourself feel.. that’s strength.

Crying out to God when you feel helpless takes strength. If you didn’t have any left, you wouldn’t be able to seek Him or ask Him to help.

You see, walking through the valley actually requires more strength than walking on the mountain tops.

Even if you are walking incredibly slow.

You are still going.

And each baby step is getting you closer to being out of this.

I promise you there will come a day when you don’t feel this way.

Not only that, but when you look back on this time you are going to realize how incredibly strong you are.

Because strength doesn’t always look like being victorious and being the best.

Sometimes strength means just showing up and doing the best you can during the hardest times.

Whether you believe it right now or not...

You are stronger than you think.

Because our all-powerful God lives inside of you.
