“This too shall pass.” This. This situation. This emotion. This heartache. This fear. This hardship. This struggle.
This.
It will pass. It won't always be like or feel like it does right now.
You might be standing in the dark with what feels like no light.
But the light is within you. Jesus is within you. He will get you through this.
I know you might be thinking, how? How can things get better when everything appears so hopeless?
My only answer is that hopeless is not a word in God's vocabulary or a part of His plan.
Hopeless is never the final outcome we get with Him.
Will it turn out exactly how we want it to? Probably not. Usually life doesn't go exactly according to plan.
It doesn't go exactly according to our plan, at least.
But His plan is good and it won't be stopped. And you have a critical part in this plan. Even right now, even in this hard place.
So we have a choice to make. We can walk in the dark paralyzed by fear, or we can walk in it worshipping the God who is always faithful.
It's okay to be scared. But be scared and as you raise your voice, your eyes and your hands in praise to the One who will see you through.
I promise it will change you.
It might not feel like it now, but this too shall pass.
Remember what He has brought you out of before.
He didn’t bring you here to leave you. He'd never do that.
It will pass, so hang on to your faith. Hang on to Him.
