This isn’t how life was supposed to go.
You had other plans, other dreams. Not this.
Sometimes life feels like one huge punch to the stomach.
Leaving you breathless, leaving you curled up on the ground.
It’s hard to believe that a good God actually had a plan for your life when you can’t see how things could possibly get better.
It’s hard to believe He knows what He’s doing.
It’s normal for us humans to put limiting beliefs on Jesus, simply because it’s hard for our brain to process His magnitude and His power.
But these thoughts we have, these doubts... they really are limiting to the truth of God.
Because He’s the one who created everything... out of nothing.
He makes a way when there isn’t one we can see.
His words make things come to be, and His breath makes dead things come alive.
He breathes life into you and me and into our circumstances.
So there is never no hope, because He has the last word.
Do you think, perhaps, He could do something with these things in your life that feel so broken?
Because He can.
I’m not saying it will look exactly how you are hoping it will.
But I am saying death doesn’t defeat Him and He specializes in repairing broken things.
You might feel like the wind has been knocked out of you, but He’ll place it back in you with His living breath.
It’s okay to be down, friend.
It’s okay to cry and grieve.
But never let hopelessness take over you.
Don’t let the enemy have that kind of pleasure.
Hopelessness is never apart of God’s plan for you, and it’s not apart of who He is.
He restores and redeems His creation, and you are no exception.
Let Him breathe life back into you.
